ANDREW FRENCH

President of Franchise Operations

In just seven short years, Andrew French has increased Aubree’s locations by nearly 300 percent, earned the prestigious award of Michigan’s 50 Companies to Watch of 2014, and lead Aubree’s 20 percent year over year sales growth.

Andrew’s parents, Bill and Sandee French, founded Aubree’s Saloon in the summer of 1972 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. As business leaders, the French family serves as champions of the Ypsilanti community through their growing business, creating jobs and providing residents and visitors with a beloved local gathering place. In addition, they are strong advocates for historical district preservation. After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in finance, Andrew rejoined his family to take on the challenge of evolving Aubree’s from a small pizzeria in Ypsilanti to a brand that could grow across Michigan.

Aubree’s concept – a community-driven restaurant that works restlessly to be the gathering place for family and friends – became further defined under Andrew’s leadership as president. Being labeled as a pizzeria, Andrew lead his organization to challenge the notion that Aubree’s would be known only for its award-winning pizza. In 2010, Andrew strategically guided his team to set their focus on reshaping the classic comfort staples on their grill menu into world-class entrées at an affordable price. With Andrew’s sights set high, Aubree’s pivoted and dramatically increased their year over year grill sales. Numerous grill items have been nominated and won awards for their creativity, unique flavors, and value to guests.

Andrew is motivated to continue the growth of the Aubree’s Pizzeria & Grill brand throughout Michigan and beyond. His passion for the people, culture, and product are evident throughout the Aubree’s organization. He is determined and focused on Aubree’s journey to becoming America’s most loved gathering place.

TYE ELDER

Director of Kitchen Operations

Tye brought his nearly three decades of experience as a corporate executive chef to the Aubree’s organization in January 2015. Tye is responsible for all menu development and the overall operations for the back of house and kitchen areas of Aubree’s restaurants. He oversees training and process management with the entire organization’s kitchen management teams and influences the back of the house teams on purchasing levels as well as leads them in food preparation and kitchen safety techniques. In addition, Tye ensures that the organization’s standards for food presentation, proportions sizes, and ticket-time efficiencies are met.

JEFF HALAS

Director of Restaurant Operations

Director of Restaurant Operations Jeff leads the Aubree’s organization by planning, coordinating, and directing people and processes to ensure operations are consistent across all restaurant locations. Jeff creates organization-wide policies and plans, and he ensures the appropriate staff and material resources are available to successfully implement those policies and plans. In addition, he oversees all front of the house production, sales, and service. Jeff has more than 25 years of restaurant experience and joined Aubree’s in 2013.

ANGELO NARDONI

Corporate Trainer

Angelo is responsible for the development and implementation of Aubree’s corporate training programs. He assists with new store openings by providing start- up training and ensuring compliance with all brand requirements. He provides support for the point of sale system and ensures physical facilities comply with company standards. In addition, he conducts on-site educational workshops and training sessions and fields store-level issues. Angelo has nearly 20 years of restaurant experience and joined Aubree’s in 2016.

ADRIANE DE CEUNINCK

Marketing Manager

Adriane develops and manages Aubree’s brand development direction, marketing plans, and corporate communications. In addition, she is responsible for Aubree’s digital presence, including website development and maintenance, social media, and online reputation management. She also provides support for franchisees on local store marketing planning and execution. Adriane joined Aubree’s in 2016 and brings nearly 20 years of marketing communications experience to the organization.
